Seems like I talked about this before, but I can't find it Sooo...
I finally finished putting the "Bold" trigger into my Mauser 98.
This is a beautiful gun, and I put a lot of time in refinishing the stock. However, I hated the trigger and sprung for a BOLD Trigger.

From a mechanical standpoint, it fit like a glove. According to the instructions you might have to relieve some of the metal on the receiver, but I didn't have to do so.
What I did have to do is remove a lot of material from the stock. However, I wasn't successful. I couldn't find any lipstick, so last night after having dinner with several friends, I stopped at the drug store and picked up a tube of lipstick. I asked the sales-clerk if he thought the color was right for me. He stared at me for a minute and then replied: "I'm not sure, put some on and then I'll be able to tell." He won!!!
The lipstick showed that I was wrong where I thought the problem was, and I was able to get it fixed with the Dremel.
I adjusted the trigger for a 2lb pull (I only use the gun for shooting paper targets), and put the barrel back in the stock. Guess what? It didn't work. I had to relieve the trigger guard, and now it works fine.
I'm quite impressed with the construction and quality of the Bold trigger. I mean a Mauser with a 2lb pull? The way they accomplish this is with a secondary sear. Clever!!!
