I can believe it. I was amazed at how well my Swedish Mauser shot; it appeared to me to be as good as my K31, and since I replaced the trigger, I think it is better.

I was suprised to see so few Finnish nagants. I've never shot one, but they are supposed to be very accurate as well.

I was surprised to see so few Finnish nagants. I've never shot one, but they are supposed to be very accurate as well. I have one (surprised?), but I wasn't overly impressed with how well it shot. I don't recall ever doing any trigger work on it. The stock looked like it was made from a bunch of pieces of scrap firewood. In spite of that, I did finish the stock. In cold weather (don't laugh - everything is relative) I don't shoot rifles much unless I'm testing something after working on it. The benches are made out of concrete and it is just cold. In winter I like shooting semi-auto 22LR's that I won't shoot in summer time because I'm wearing short-sleeve shirts (I've gotten 2nd degree burns on the arm from hot brass). Well, I have 6 more window switches to install before I can head to the range this morning, so I'd better get busy.
