I got mine in the mail a day or two before Christmas - a black one, for my full size 1911. Nothing's perfect, but this is close. Retention, draw, weight distribution, aesthetic beauty - all are as near to ideal as I could have hoped. This will definitely be my pick for OWB, as long as Mr. Alessi continues to make them.
