This is one of the newer ones manufactured by S&W. First picture shows the factory grips, mine has a set of custom hardwood grips (bottom).

If you ever decide to not want anymore, take a close look at the tang for an indent under the hammer on S&W manufactured versions. Shows that the recall work on the hammer block has been done. Lots of info at the walther forum.

Nice looking .380. Another one I missed when it was first posted! I had a knockoff of the Walther. It really fit my hand well.

Their new PK380 is just hitting the shelves now. Pretty much like thier P22 in a .380 size. From what I understand, it's a locked breech design with a steel (as opposed to zinc) slide and plastic frame. I don't like the need for a special plastic "takedown key". I can see that thing getting lost or broken.

If I get another .380, it will be that new Sig that's a copy of the old Colt Mustang. It would be my first "1911."

This was a carpet scrap at the range - not in MY house. ;D P.S. It came with another magazine that is flush with the bottom of the pistol, but I was shooting this at the range and like the extra grip from the finger thing.

I like those grips. They look nicely fitted to the frame, unlike the stock plastic ones that leave quite a reveal at the backstrap. That really concentrates the felt recoil.
