The failure of the slide to lock back, after the last round, on a pistol is not one in a million, but it is uncommon for it to happen to two different pistols, at the very same moment, when one is a Beretta and the other is a SIG. This is what happened during a gunfight between Wesley Snipes and Gary Busey's character during the climax of the movie "Drop Zone". Both guns were pointed directly at each ones face, with slides dropped, while each one continued to engage triggers, only to find both their pistols had simultaineously ran dry. They should have used revolvers for this movie, it would have been more convincing.
