I went to see The Bourne Supremacy the other night. That boy is still packing a Sig, it looks like, though it appears he gave a Walther PPK to his ... oops, can't give anything away. I did not like it as well as The Bourne Identity. It was filmed in that jerky, blurry hand-held camera technique that is supposed to be exciting but just gives me a headache. Movie seemed like one long chase scene.
Anybody else seen it? Looks like he was using a 9 mm Sig.

I have also thought the same this about the jerky camera action. I was actually surprised that as we where leaving the theater they where passing out packages of Advil. I just thought it was kind of funny

Everyone hates a "me too" post, but here it is.
I went out and saw it at the drive in last weekend (see my "shooting with my wife" thread) and I had the same impression. Although I missed the Walther - shame on me!

What's a Drive-in?
Hehe! I haven't seen one of those in years.

What's a Drive-in? Hehe! I haven't seen one of those in years. Ricochet; If one is fortunate to have a Drive In Theater within driving distance, they are a far better alternative to the newer Movie Mall Multiplex Complexes, especially in the uncivilized society of diversity. The days of the walk in theater being a grand event, is long gone in history. The drive in brings a little back from those days of a bygone era, when the automoblie served a different kind of purpose with evening entertainment. These newer SUVs contribute alot of comfort to the drive in theaters of today.

It was a good story but the "jerkyness" really was distracting. It would have been much more exciting if one had a sense of what was actually happening during the action/chase scenes.
The one great thing about the movie that my wife noticed after we left is that it had no "bad words" or nudity.

Yeah, and for all the action, shooting, car crashes and general butt-kicking, it wan't really all that gory. Maybe a bit during the final car crash (not really giving anythng away here). Really good fight scene between Jason Bourne and the other "perfect assassin," eh? though I thought he looked MUCH too good afterward for a guy who had been in a fracas like that!
MLB: I'm not sure about the Walther, but it seemed to have that distinctive raised sight rail along the top of the barrel. Not really much of a chance to get a good look. Maybe Makarovs have them, too.

The one great thing about the movie that my wife noticed after we left is that it had no "bad words" or nudity. another great movie like that was "the italian job", funny, exciting and no swearing or nudity. movies don't always "need" that stuff. I hope the film industry learns that.

Most of the Swearing I've heard in Theaters come from the back rows of those Movie Mall Complexes. Because of the threat of violence at the box office, law enforcement personnel is gathered in hostile formations for security. One is pretty much on his own once he enters the actual theater.
