munich:
Has anyone seen this movie yet? I am anxious to see this version from Spielberg depicting the Mossad agents that went after the terrorists responsible for Munich 1972. The other movie that covered this originally I believe is, the "Sword of Gideon".

Mitch, I've heard reviews that weren't good. The Mossad is saying that it wasn't exactly what was depicted in the movie. In other words: Hollywood strikes again, which is a little surprising from Spielberg, who I've certainly respected.
Speaking of films (no groaning... I know, I know...here he goes again): Over the years I've had some favorite movies: Ben Hur, Hunt for Red October....
However, I never had any film really totally blow me away like March of the Penguins. I missed it when it was released, but bought it as soon as it came out on DVD. My wife moaned and groaned when I insisted she watch it (hmmm, even at my age I still have a way to make her moan). It blew her away. We were out to dinner last night with some friends and she went on and on telling them about it - totally out of character for her.

Seriously, I was looking forward to seeing Munich, too, and Syriana, which looks good. I saw a review that said Syriana could have been better but still was better than average. Want to see Narnia, too. I still don't "get" the King Kong thing. Will wait for that on DVD.

On the DVD is a Special Feature called Of Penguins and Men, which tells about the making of the film. It was a French group that were down there for a year in making the documentary. They did a great job. Actually, when you think about it, the French were a natural for the job - they didn't have to bathe.
