This is obviously a western, but one which I like very much. This one stars James Stewart who is in pursuit of the man who robbed him of a one in 1,000 Winchester 73, which he won in a target match in Dodge City. The match featured participants from all over, about 300, but what happened after the rifle was stolen is how the story begins to unfold. The ending is climatic, as with all westerns of the time. This one has remained in my video collection for many years.
Will Geer plays the role of Wyatt Earp, which he made a good presentation speech on the rifle prior to the beginning of the match.
