I finally got around to putting some effort in making some fairly descent photos, which shows some justice to the Royal Blue finish on my Pythons. It took over 40 pictures to finally get these.

If I ever find a 4" like that I may have to sell my boat to get it. Very nice DA.

Thanks ML; It took me the longest to try and capture the deep Royal Blue Finish on these. I hope they turned out okay on everyone elses screens. I still can't seem to get the image right with this Government Model and the Ivory.

I'm after a 6" version in either blued or bright stainless, the nickel is just too shiny and easily ruined for someone like me that will shoot it.
Nice photos, DA.

Thanks 5on; You might find the carbon steel Pythons to feel much smoother. I've fired both, many times, and found the carbon steel absorbs the recoil like a cushion. It just feels more solid, but I find that true with many of my carbon steel handguns.
You, or others might not notice a significant difference between the two, and like you mentioned, the stainless is more friendly to a lot of wear and tear; scratches are easily buffed out.
