I respect copyrights, but I will quote something: "I won't venture to guess what thoughts dominated the Sig Sauer design team when they created this bug on their drawing boards and computers. It's possible their goal was to make life difficult for every gunsmith destined to deal with it."
He goes on to say that: "I must admit the Mosquito is a skillfully built pistol."
Some of the pictures show the special German made jig that the assemblers use to assemble the pistol.
The good news is: I never got around to disassembling mine in order to do a trigger job on it. After reading this article, I won't even attempt to do it.
Chick also says that the Mosquito is not one that he would recommend for target shooting, and it is an expensive plinker. I don't think this is unique to the Sig. I've never been too pleased with the Kimber either, and I have the one this is designed to be a 22LR i.e. it isn't a conversion.
On another thread I discuss the new P220 w/22LR slide, but I don't expect any more accuracy from it than I get from the Mosquito unless the improved trigger improves my accuracy.
