Precision Small Arms now has the "baby Browning" available. They received the rights from FN to produce it here in the US. Rather than repeating all of its attributes, I'll just post the link to their site, and a picture: www.precisionsmallarms.com P.S. I ordered the one with the nickle finish.

Why do I ever post anything to this forum - don't I get enough grief from having my wife home?
Callahan, there are times that the S&W is a little too big to slip into my pants pocket, and I end up carrying the NAA 22WMR revolver. I expect the little PSA 25 will fit the bill instead of the NAA. Of course if I could lose some weight in my fat a.., I could carry the S&W 500. Whoops let the cat out of the bag there. Yup, the 500 is at my dealers and I pick it up on Friday after I drop the wife off at the airport.
I expect the PSA to be smaller than the Seecamp. I will find out for sure when it gets here. Camfour has them in stock, if I can just get her to order it.
5OT, good one.

Yikes, I'm suffering from ammunition sticker shock. I was able to find a few boxes of 25ACP at local dealers, but was it ever expensive.
Then today I went to CheaperthanDirt in Fort Worth to see if they had any, and saw that they had 9mm ammo for $20/box. The last time I bought 9mm it was $7/box.
As I write this, I still haven't received the PSA, but my dealer said that it should be in next week.

Stopped into Dick's Sporting Goods for kiddo sneakers yesterday. They had a sale on .380auto for $18/50 rounds. Sheesh.

I wondered when I picked it up why it was less money than I remembered. It just dawned I me, I ordered the nickle finish one and this is the blued finish or more accurately the black oxide version. This is really a tiny pistol. It does have a magazine disconnect, and in fact will not even cock without the magazine installed. The safety has an additional function which is to hold the slide partially open in order to field strip. While it is uncocked, and with the magazine removed, you move the side backwards slightly, engage the safety and rotate the barrel 90 degrees. Next you disengage the safety and ease the slide forward and off the frame. It comes in a cute little plastic case with a foam cut-out for the pistol, magazine, and little nylon brush. There is also a manual, which is quite good. Rather than having half of it filled with safety information, they supply a separate little safety booklet. Should you care to read the manual without buying the pistol, you can download it at: www.precisionsmallarms.com/operatorsmanual.pdfAbout the only negative thing that I'd say about it is the lack of a suitable pocket holster. Given the small size of it, I don't think it is going to be a real lot of fun to shoot, so I probably now own all the ammunition for it that I'll ever buy.

Well, shooting was a big disappointment. This is definitely not a gun that I would stake my life on. I couldn't make it through a magazine without a jam. It either failed to eject or failed to go into battery on nearly every round.
After 20 rounds, I concluded that I was wasting ammo. I'll try a different ammo and a different oil on it.

Sounds as if the company name is a bit of a misnomer, well, 2/3 of it anyway. It is small.
Sometime I'll probably get a little Kel-tec 3AT for that purpose, but since I've recently blown way more than my gun budget on the P5C, it won't be soon. Especially since they want nearly $350 for the things now.

I have a 1st Gen 3AT that I got for right about 2bills. The 1st Gen weren't known for their out of the box functionality. They required a bit of breaking in, and/or stoning/filing. The biggest problem with them IMO is that people were limpwristing them. Without the "pinky" extension on the mag (which is more of a ring finger extension), only my middle finger and part of my ring finger fit on the grip. From what I hear the next generation is better. I think Callahan has one of the 2nd gen models.
