Struggling to find something new/good to shoot, I made a call to Larry's Guns. Prior to going to China, I'd checked with them to see if they had the GT-9 in stock and they didn't. I called, they had, I bought. Believe it or not - I read the owner's manual. In it they said that the caliber was a 9x21 IMI. After doing some research, I found out that the 9x21 ammo was hard to come by. According to Larry's web-site, it just said 9mm. I sent them an e-mail wanting to know what was going on and received this reply: I thought it was strange that the caliber wasn't shown anywhere on the gun. In the following picture from the Pardini web-site, you can see the caliber shown. On mine it wasn't shown anywhere. Anyhow, the trigger on this thing is outstanding. It has full rails like the Sig P210, but with a better trigger. Uhmmm, it cost me more than my P210. Larry was out of the blued model and sold me the silver for the same price. DA, it is better than the trigger on my factory 1911's, and I haven't tried yet to adjust it. I'll let y'all know how it shoots when I get a chance.

WholyShet TMan; Where did you find a pistol like that ? I've also hankered to own a Pardini Fiochi, back when they were priced at $ 600. to 700. dollars. That pistol is a work art, real beauty.

DA, Larry's Guns is the importer now of Pardini, Benelli, Hammerli and TOZ. Although I had to pay the published price, at least I didn't have to pay our 8% sales tax. www.larrysguns.com/Default.aspxAlthough I've been extremely qualified with their service, it is a little hard to get ahold of them because of the current gun buying spree here in the US. Also, shipping is expensive because they ship overnight and insure it.

Well, we got to put 50 rounds through this baby today. Would have shot more, but I forgot to put ammo for the PSA and this gun in my range bag. I always keep one box of 45ACP and one of 9MM in the car.
Anyhow, out of the box it is a two stage trigger, and I like it that way so I didn't change it. After the first stage, very little pressure is needed for it to trip the second stage. One of the nicest triggers I've felt on any gun.
I wish I'd told Ed to take a picture of my target. I shot 40 rounds and he shot 10. In my target there were 5 or 6 that were not in the center. This is an excellent gun. (The management at Fiat should hire the workers that made this gun).
It has full length guide rails like the P210, but the P210 I have was meant to be a service pistol. This was born to be a target gun.
One of these days I'll break out the P210, X-Five, S&W952, STI TargetMaster, and the GT-9 and see what I shoot the best with.
