So should we start a pool for how long it will be before it is recalled? At least they got the SR9 back to me PDQ. I'm still waiting for my PPK/s from S&W.

I saw that in an email they sent a while back. Looked good to me too.
I've heard that one person got thier ppk/s back from S&W, but they sent it in around February for other work and they held it to do the recall work too. Folks on the Walther forum are rather displeased about S&W taking over the manfuacture of the ppk due to quality (and now recall) reasons. I have to agree that the materials and finish of mine left a bit to be desired.

Looks like S&W isn't the only one Walther's in bed with. Let's see if I can get this straight: Colt is licensing Walther to manufacture a .22 cal AR-15, and Umarex (Walther's parent company) is the US importer. Should be a fun plinker, but how it's any better than a 10/22 I don't know. I understand that it has a metal receiver though. That's a plus. www.colt22rimfire.com/

The only thing is missing, is for Ruger to enter the 1911 market like everyone else.

Now that you mention it, I'm surprised that they haven't!
