It is too bad that so many people watch and believe Rosie O'Donnell. I don't agree with many of her ideas. Though (proudly) I admit I do not watch her show. Tom Selleck did a good job of side stepping the attack.

My wife used to watch her show all the time , glad her show and magazine are now gone. can't stand that hog - she's hard to look at and hard to stomach her liberal morals.

The reason our founders included our right to "keep and bear arms" in the Bill of Rights is so that dummies like Rosie couldn't get into power and screw things up for everyone.
I thought Selleck did a commendable job.

Selleck really did do a commendable job and from the footage is pretty eloquent in stating his views in my opinion. Especially considering he di dnot expect her to act like that on national tv.

That's TV for you. It must be true if a celebrity says it is.
The industry wonders why ages 18-34 male viewership is in a decline. Its because of all the crap programming and pathetic attempts at indoctrination.
You think anyone at the range would object if I put a picture of her head on a torso target?

That would be illegal here in Mass., P.R.of, I kid you not. I ignore that sh*t anyway & nobody has bothered me about "human" targets yet. If challenged, I'll just draw Mr. Spock ears & antennae on w/magic marker & ask "that look human to you?" Rosie O'Donut is thankfully too busy now "marrying" her (?) Kelli. I don't agree that Tom did all that well, even if he was ambushed. Fatuous statements of hers such as inanimate "guns bear some responsibility" and "that Tec-9 'assault rifle' that ... fires five bullets a second" were pure nonsense parrotted out & garbled by her from the press releases of HCI and VPC. I'd have shredded her into pork rinds, and none too nicely either.

Twenty Four Years ago I got tired of all the network crap, and had cable installed. Ten years ago cable began getting the idea that they were a major utility, so I cut their service off my house with a set of tree pruners. Since then I've had this 8' foot C-Band satellite dish on my roof with a digital- analog 4DTV Receiver; I tailor my programs to what I like, with no more Rosies, Donahues, Sally Whatever, and the rest. Then one night I tuned onto one of my movie channels to find that limp wristed Bill Maher, with some soap opera nobody, giving Charleston Heston the third degree about guns that kill. Ninety Nine, Point Nine Percent of the celebrities on television now are nobodies, who made their mark on senseless programing. The other day a local radio station had a mystery celebrity, and even after the guy finally revealed his idenity, he, or his credits, were still unrecognized. It seems most have already used up their five minutes of fame.

From the transscript, Tom sounded as if he was making calm, solid, factual, and reasonable responses to Rosie's (mostly) hype. If only all proponents of gun ownership could respond as well, many people who are ignorant on the subject would come to an informed decision on such issues.
Unfortunately, many of the "pro-gun" crowd sound like a mirror-image of Rosie, spewing catch phrases and portraying gun owners in a decidely poor light.
I read somewhere, something to the effect that it is not necessary to understand a topic in order to argue it. I wish I could find that quote again. It was phrased better...

That cow and others like her boil my blood. At one point I had heard that she had an ARMED body guard for the protection of her poor children and her. Madonna is another one. She has armed protection around her. Even that Fienstein pos has admitted to illegally carrying a concealed handgun to protect herself.
These people seem to think laws are for us, not them. We are not responsible enough to ensure our own protection. I realize that I'm preaching to the choir here so I will stop now...

Right On TA! One of our Founding Fathers, I believe it was James Madison, stated that in his opinion. "Those that own the country should run the country". He feared the Tyranny of the Majority. Clearly there are people of means $$$$$$ who still feel that way. They are entitled to their opinions but have no right to force their Double Standards on the rest of the world.

GUNS CAUSE VIOLENCE LIKE FORKS MADE ROSIE O'DONNELL FAT!
Guys, please don't call that walking case for retroactive birth control a sow or cow--it demeans farm animals all over the world. Unlike O'Donnell, they are useful creatures. Perhaps "sexually disoriented female woodchuck" might be a better fit.
And I have stuck a blowup of her face (I guess, hard to tell the ends apart on her) on an IPSC target and thoroughly ventilated it. Felt good, but had to burn the evidence later in case some other "liberal" might accuse me of political incorrectness, hate crime, etc. We need to find a way to take our country back....
