We have had several customers comment on the finish of Wilson pistols. Nothing really negative, but some prefer a nice bluing on carbon steel on a $3000 gun rather than the Armor-Tuff. I think there is a niche for a nice blued Wilson, so we worked with Wilson and came up with the Legacy. I wanted the flats HIGH polished, but they came with a brush polish. Still very nice, but I wanted to appeal to guys like me that really enjoy the looks of the older Colts with the mirror flats.
It is basically a CQB with single side safety, serrated rear of slide and rear sights, no front cocking serrations, scripted laser etching and wood cocobolo grips.

Uhhh, are you really going to sell that TA? Congradulations on being a master dealer too.
I agree with you about the mirror polish on the old Colts. My Python has it too.
Just getting 1911's these days is quite a feat in itself. I asked Becky to get me a Classic Supergrade in 9mm, but she told me I'd have a 9 month wait. I told her to forget it. I used the money for a bunch of other stuff.

Uhhh, are you really going to sell that TA? I actually have two of these in stock and another one somewhere in the build cycle. I will probably keep one of these for myself.

I had these all reworked by Wilson (Doug Turnbull) to have high polished slide flats. They were supposed to be like that, but somehow the detail was missed. These are absolutely beautiful!

TA; I've heard a lot about Doug Turnbull, but never dreamed he was turning polishing jobs that beautiful. I might require his services.
