TA; That is cool, however, I always assemble the mainspring housing to the frame before the thumb safety. Reason being, the hammer on my pistols has to be in the cocked position with the sear, in order for the thumb safety to fully install. The removal of the thumb safety also requires the hammer and sear to be in the cocked position. I've seen others do it differently because of fear of the hammer being tripped while the slide is removed.
