I tried my hand at english (flat) checkering. I have seen these on Gunsite pistols and it looks great on them. The flat checkering has a really nice feel to it. Not much grip, but nice. They came out pretty good and the set was sold before I could even get them completely finished. They are a little shiney from a fresh coat of oil.
