There are some that might fit most all average hands, but for the most part these are one of the things which we usually put away in the box, and one of the first purchases we make along side a holster.

Definately.
I put new grips on both of my recent purchases and most of my other firearms have had the same treatment. I have all kinds of factory grips sittin around...
Sights are another thing that I usually upgrade immediately.

Just put a Hogue Handall on my Ruger P-95. A real pain in the Butte to get that sleeve onto the factory polymer grip.....Hope it is worth it.
