The P5c was a bit of an exception at around $800, but my handguns have ranged from $400-$600. Half of them are used. Come to think about it, the most expensive handgun I bought was used. That seems odd.

I must admit, I have better luck of running up on good deals of used guns more than I do newer pieces. If I had $2,000. dollars to spend, I would look at the used gun before I would the newer guns.
In most cases, I can purchase a vintage S&W revolver, Colt a 1911, or Sig Sauer for under $500.

I like that Dan Wesson Bobtail, but don't see it joining my collection anytime soon.

I always had the good fortune of having the best of my guns falling in my lap. If I were to wish it to happen, it would happen at the price, when I had the money to spend. Talking about luck.

I would tell you, but if my wife just happened to run across this post - I'd be dead.
