I just received a nice set of Hogue grips today for my Python, so I thought I would show them off. They were a very generous gift from a friend. They look great and feel even better.

Nothing quite like a Python. I've always been impressed how Colt beveled the face of the cylinder; something I wished had been done to my S&W Model 27 at the factory. The long hammer spur also makes for easy single action cocking. When Colt did a nickle plating on a gun, they nickled just about everything. This is what I would call a presentation grade Heirloom revolver.

See the way the cylinder reflects on the frame? Oh yeah! Not that I'd ever try to shoot a pistol that nice, but if I did, I might need shooting sticks!

It looks great, you say it feels great. How does it shoot with the new grips? (Probably like it did last week, right Mr. Screwedupmynickel-phobia) Those grips dress up an already beautiful gun.
