The P99 and ppk/s are easy enough. BHP and P5c are a little more tricky in the dark. Ruger MarkII would be a challenge.
The S&W M27 has it hands down though. ;D

No, no, no, my friend. Read the subject it says: "Pistol". The M27 S&W is a revolver, not a pistol. ;D ;D ;D

Sigs, Springfield XD, Glock, Cz 82.
Luger P08---not even close. well, I might get it apart, but definitely not back together in the dark, same w the 1911. and currently I can't get the Ruger apart in the daylight. I'll get back to that this weekend though. Helping friend out with a couple of kit builds this week/end too.

Actually, even worse than the Ruger Marknnn models is the Hi-Point pistols. You have to have a punch and a hammer to drive out a pin. Try finding the location of the pin in the dark.
If the bolt stop pin could be pulled out without using force, it would be possible to strip the Ruger in the dark.

The having the ease of Field Stripping the Sig Sauers, was just added bonus. I didn't initially have no intentions of buying into the Sig Sauers for that reason. My reasons was for the double action triggers, the single trigger, accuracy, and extreme reliably for a lightweight frame. As I learned more about the pistol, it further enhanced my interest in the bonus features of the Sig Sauers.

Wimpy guns - if you are going to pistol whip somebody, use an X-frame. ;D

When I was in Viet Nam I could field strip a 1911 and reassemble it in one minute in the dark and a skosh quicker if we were being shot at.

I can field strip my Walther PPS 9mm in the dark.
My only 1911 experience is with my Kimber Pro Carry II. That thing would be a bear to try and reassemble in the dark.

Ah, another happy PPS owner? You've seen my avatar, right? Welcome back, Richochet. Yep. I sold my XD-40 and XD-9 and now have Kimber and PPS. I like the thin single stack PPS for more comfortable/concealable carry.

My Kel-Tec PF-9 is even better than the PPS for carry, but the 3AT beats them all. I sometimes think I should unload the PF-9 because it's so close to the PPS, but I just can't bring myself to. Maybe if it breaks again!

Wll I have to add 2 more I left out. The Bersa Thunder .380 and the Keltec 32/380 whoops and the Ruger LCP also G I forgot the Bersa I once owned. It was super easy to strip. The Kel-Tec 3AT has a small ejector piece that could easily be lost in the dark. Sometimes I can't even find it in the light!
