As a general rule, I prefer the looks of a blued revolver over a chrome or stainless. I'm not as picky about semiautos.

As a general rule, I prefer the looks of a blued revolver over a chrome or stainless. I'm not as picky about semiautos. I have found that it's best to sample both when deciding on a shooter, whether be with carbon steel or stainless. I will post a topic later about that.

Well, I certainly appreciate it!
Honestly though, since I have no intention of selling it, I haven't thought much about the current value of my firearms. They're all good specimens. I doubt I'd take a loss on them.

It's one of my favorites. I bought it at about $400. Probably could get the same out of it today.
It's not really blued though, more of a parkerized finish. I'd love to have an old blued one with a high polish...
