BIGDOG; In our State, We have Laws which allow us to carry concealed or open and because of this, I'm not concerned with being too cautious on my cover up. In the case that I choose to go into a deep cover up, I will do so with this one these pieces.

Those Defenders are beautiful! I would love to own one of them! Your pics remind me of a say an older gentleman has told me for years. "Smith and Wesson makes revolvers and Colt makes pistols" G

Those Defenders are beautiful! I would love to own one of them! Your pics remind me of a say an older gentleman has told me for years. "Smith and Wesson makes revolvers and Colt makes pistols" G BIGDOG; Some pieces, like the Defender, wasn't purchased by the usual method of going to a local dealer. In my family I have three brothers and a father who likes firearms, and, we like to buy or trade firearms within ourselves. Since I'm the oldest of my brothers; I compete with my Father; when we get the guns, the buck stops there. My youngest brother just bought the pistol when he bought it over to me to see. I did the usual thing by detail stripping the pistol down and smoothing it up. As soon he left my home, I called my other brother that I found my Colt Defender; my brother told me that he already heard the news that Anthony had just bought a Colt. In two weeks, I had my Defender. My little brother buys on the thrill of buying. ;D

I usually carry the ppk/s, but enjoyed carrying the P5c for the first time while hunting this past weekend. I picked up a relatively cheap Uncle Mike's Sidekick holster to hold me over until I can find / afford something better.

I usually carry a 9 mm Kel-Tec PF-9 with me in the car. If I'm going to be out of the car a lot and/or need to pocket carry in warm weather -- Kel-Tec 3AT. For evening formal wear -- Walther PPS. Weddings -- nickel-plated SIG P239. ;D
