Anyone know what's up with Georgia Arms lack of ability in producing the 9mm round? DA turned me onto them a while back and I love their product. haven't been able to get anything in 9mm from them in a good long while though.

TBT; Ever since I first introduced Georgia Arms to the members, their sales has took off like a wild fire. I mostly buy in bulk and I assume that most people also does the same. The 9mm and the .45acp is a hot seller at the moment, given the fact that supplies are low all over. People have been stocking up and there might be a shortage of brass in some markets.
Go ahead and place your order, then play the waiting game.

I really need to start reloading, I've been saving brass for a while and have a couple thousand 9mm cases.

I didn't pursue it because I didn't have anymore space to spare.

What a shame.
It didn't look to me like GA was accepting orders for the 9mm when last I checked DA. I think it read something like "no back order, check back later" or something. Really liked that stuff and was even considering using it for my carry ammo since I shoot so much of what I carry (1-200 rounds a month).

Yeah, I really hope they find another supply chain. I'm sure they will still have issues producing the same quantity but maybe they could get to a point where they are taking orders again anyway.
Anyone ever use Fiocchi ammunition? I just ordered 300 rounds of the Fiocchi 9XTPC Extrema Ammunition. $20 per box of 50. These use the Hornady XTP bullet and are loaded to 1290FPS. From what I've seen reviews of this ammunition are really pretty good. The biggest complaint I've heard is that sometimes their velocities aren't consistent, the people that have put them on a chrono have gotten between 1245 and 1300.
See, I would love to shoot what I carry almost exclusively. That's getting expensive with Double Tap at $40/50rds shipped (on average, I do order bulk). Two trips to the range per month is starting to get really expensive. I plan to test this ammunition in my M&P and consider carrying it. If I can keep 500-1500 rounds in stock and shoot it near exclusively it might be worth it to me.

TBT; I have, but I don't remember which caliber. I have it in .40 S&W and several others. If anything was wrong with it, I would have it on my lower shelf with my machine gun ammo.

I picked up a box of 50 Rem UMC .223 cal for a friend's Christmas present recently. I was surprised to get it for $21. I expected it to be more.

Yes, I use it all the time. I think it is a little hotter than Winchester or Remington. I've never had a failure with it. I like the smaller boxes that they package it in too.

Just noticed while browsing that Georgia Arms has the 147gr. +p 9mm in stock right now. Won't let you order more than 400 rounds though. Not sure what I think of the 147gr 9mm loading though. Was always a 124-127gr kind of guy. Might order some while it's in stock.
