Finally arrived

I've been looking for a couple different revolvers for a while, but the locals here don't have any or aren't willing to part with them, and when they do, they are VERY proud of them. So, I've been watching gunbroker for many months. (not a good idea, by the way) I have increased my wants list now. Ok, back on topic, so I would often see a revolver that interested me, and I'd bid and lose. This happened numerous times, so I decided I'd bid on two revolvers at the same time. Both were what I thought to be good deals. My bids were actually lower than some of the auctions I'd lost. Well, as you've probably figured out by now, I won them both!

Both need to be cleaned up some, and then if it weren't snowing so much, I'd be shooting them today. The nickel's rear sight blade is slightly loose, have to see about how to tighten it up.

Now for those with the S&W bibles, could you please look up the date of manufacture for me please? Nickel 27-2 SN# N692XXX, Blue 27-2 SN# N479XXX

5ontarget; WOW !!! That's like catching two fish with the same worm.

Be careful to use only factory loads on the 29-2, that was before S&W incorporated their endurance package.

Also, stay away from the Flitz in cleaning the Nickel or Blue.

I have to get some correct grips for mine (M27-5). Those look very nice.
