Well this is an interesting one: the AR57, which is basically an AR, but it shoots the FN 5.7X28MM round that is shot by the PS90 and the FiveSeven pistol. So you can shoot the 5.7 round in a rifle that doesn't have the sucky trigger that the PS90 has. www.57center.com/

you really only need an AR lower and can shoot everything from .22LR, mag, .204 up through .50BMG. The 50cal is single shot bolt action though. I haven't seen the upper for the 5.7mm yet.I've seen a couple of the .50 conversions and they do indeed work, and shoot well too.
So Tman, has the ar57 been ordered?

I assume the lower is the registered part? (The one with the SN.)

Yeah, no restrictions on the uppers. The lower is the "gun" according to the government and has to go through a FFL. I've assembled a couple guns, and when I bring the receivers home, I show my wife my new "gun"

So Tman, has the ar57 been ordered? Nope, the distributor doesn't have them in stock yet, they just listed it as coming from PWA, which as I recall is in Canada. I don't know if I want one or not. I'm not a real big 'black rifle' kind of guy. I only have two: the S&W M&P and the Wilson Combat one. Well, if you count the S&W M&P 15-22, that would be 3. I still think of them as military rifles, and my favorite of those class weapons is still the SKS. (I only have one AK too).

PDW is actually the manufacturer, which is PWA or as they are more well known as, PW Arms in Redmond.
