Sorry but I don't remember the model number, although I just heard about this today. I do remember looking at it and it was a Sporter model.
The guy that owned it had taken it to a match, and it failed the safety check. They loaded it, put the safety on, tried to pull the trigger and the gun didn't fire. They then turned the safety off and the gun went bang.
He took it to I.S.S. in Fort Worth and Neal replaced the trigger assembly.
Scary!!! I always felt that Anshultz was right up there at the top of the line.

I do believe Anschutz is a top notch company, but even they have mistakes/problems from time to time. Another question to ask, was it still a factory trigger, or was it aftermarket/modified in any way?
