www.ruger.com/products/sp101/index.htmlanyone seen or shot one yet? 100gr bullet at 1400fps from a 3" bbl. also available in 4" GP100 and 5 1/2" Blackhawk. It can also shoot .32 H&R mag from it too. (kinda like shooting 38spl from .357mag)

Uhhhh, am I missing something? I assume you mean the 327 Federal. There was a writeup in Gunblast: www.gunblast.com/Ruger-SP101-327.htmBelieve it or not - I don't own a SP101. I do, however, have a Blackhawk and a GP100. Notice the SP101 in 327 Federal is 28 oz. That is more than twice the weight of my S&W. Since adding the Crimson Trace grips, it hurts shooting 38 SPCL. I carry it with 357 Magnum, but hope I never have to use it. However, I don't believe in carrying a gun to "scare" someone. If I draw, I will be pulling the trigger, and it will probably be multiple times. From a statistics standpoint it will more than likely be against dogs vs. people (no, the bunnies in the backyard are safe - the toads? They aren't safe, but it will be with a pellet pistol. So it comes down to: I won't be buying a 327, but I do find it very interesting. I'm that kind of guy. ;D

Now, they've improved the cartridge. I'd like to see Smith or Ruger put that caliber in a smaller package. I'd be interested.
