This evening, after adding Clorox to the pool (best source of chlorine I've found), I walked out to the streams and observed hundreds of tadpoles (toads rather than frogs I assume) eating the algae off the rocks. My first thought was: "how do I kill these little buggers?" Then I realized that they were just too cute to kill. Besides - half of them will grow up to be targets. ;D So I come inside and while waiting for my wife to finish a conference call, I turned on the TV and on STARZ6H was a movie entitled: "Tadpole". Wondering if I was in the Twlight Zone, I started watching it and low and behold, the lead actress was Sigourney Weaver, who I've always thought was a really classy and attractive woman... kind of like the great and late "Kate". (I'll never forget her on the movie: The African Queen" with Humphrey Bogart). It also had the late John Ritter, but my eyes were on Sigourney. So now I'm watching chick-flicks waiting for my tadpoles to turn into targets.

I was out in the backyard this morning and I saw a little toad, he couldn't have been more than 1/2" go under the fence into the neighbors yard. I can imagine what the neighborhood is going to sound like next spring.
Remember in the Bible how God sent the plague of frogs on Egypt. I think I'll tell the neighbors that I've heard from God and if you don't repent, He is going to send a plague of toads. So in the spring when you can't even watch TV because of the sound being drowned out by the toads, I can just say: "See, I told you to repent, but obviously somebody didn't repent!!!"

That's funny. That also was a very good description of Sigourney Weaver. I feel the same way about her, though I lean more toward her films about full-grown tadpoles (Alien). ;D

As my wife and I were watching Avatar, she asks, tongue in cheek, if she's now been type casted for scifi alien type movies.

AVATAR is awesome! It has a definite story and is very relavent to the present. I have always though Sigourney was a hottie! GHOSTBUSTERS 1&2 (sexy), ALIEN 1,2&3 (buffed), but, unfortunately, like all the rest of us she is starting to show her years. She's still very classy, though!

Classless is the word that comes to my mind. Sigourney Weaver is a far left environmental loon who backed Obama, Barbra Boxer and Ted Kennedy. I won't contribute to her income by renting/buying any of her work. ......moon

Moonclip, I was judging her performance as an actress, not her personal life or views.

Moonclip, I was judging her performance as an actress, not her personal life or views. Same here. Unfortunately, many of the Hollywood-set have forgotten what real life is and have been hypnotized into opposing anything their deep-pocketed movie moguls believe is "hurting society".

No personal slight intended to either of you guys. It's just that I didn't separate the two. It's all one person, talent and ideology. I guess I'm not open minded enough to consider them separately.

I can identify with Moon when considering someone like Michael Moore, who actively campaigns against my interests, but with actors / actresses in general, I don't let their political leanings dissuade me from enjoying their talents.
There are only so many Chuck Norris movies one can watch afterall!
