In Georgia, our carry pistol permit is called a " Firearm License" and it was once called a Pistol Toter's Permit because it allows for opened carry or concealed carry. Ours is issued by a elected Probate Judge in our county and she happens to be a democrat that goes by her own rules for declining permits.

Ours is called "Concealed Weapon License." Went to the county sheriff's office today and picked it up. Look out, Zombies! ;D In Oklahoma you either download or call the OSBI for a packet of forms to fill out. Some forms are for the sheriff in the county you live in and some are for the OSBI background check. You turn the forms in to your county sheriff and they sent the OSBI theirs. As long as you have a clean background the OSBI tells your county sheriff to issue.
