OK, since we are talking about toy guns here: I did get one toy (besides the RC boat and RC helicopter) for Christmas. It is an IZH-46M. I was a little disappointed with the pistol because after cocking it and inserting a pellet, nothing happened. I tried it a couple of times, but to no avail. Since it wasn't working, I was "working" on it in the family room. Nothing I tried seemed to make any difference. I tried using new pellets each time, and was extracting them by using the cleaning rod from the muzzle end. I noticed that the back of each pellet was slightly distorted at the rear. Then just for the heck of it, I went and got a tin of Beeman pellets. Cocked, loaded, pointed gun at box it was shipped to me in and pulled the trigger. The pellet went through the box, off my sneaker that was behind it, bounced off the wall and I heard it land in the kitchen. I tried the Gamo pellets again, and they will not work. However, the Beeman's work fine. Now I'm wondering about the lack of accuracy that I experienced with he Beeman rifle. One guy told me that I should be shooting a "springer" off sandbags, but another guy told me to try a different brand pellets. They both could be right?
