Some very old and familiar names in that thread. Wonder what those folks are up to.

Since this thread, of Mar 13, 2004, we haven't had any complaints about the fine work that proboards has been doing for us and its totally free with absolutely no cost to join.
I have grown fond of the layout and the options to add our own special colors and added touches to our forum. Having Photo Bucket also helps with a lot of things like our Custom Menu Buttons and our hyperlink images.
The old Handgun Review Forum was the best thing to ever happen to me on the Internet. I was all by myself on the MSN Community Group, GUNMEN II, when this guy wonder over and told me about this Forum ( Handgun Review ), I went over and found two guys talking to each other but they alway referred people to other forums with their questions. ;D ;D
Thats when the discussions began to take the shape of a gathering, of Handgun Enthusiast exchanging words with one another.
When the Administrator abandoned the Handgun Review Forum and all of our threads was placed in limbo; Callahan. MLB, and myself was waiting with the New Handgun Forum and the timing could not have been more perfect. We are still here ;D ;D
I will be working on a project for our "Gun Control" category this week; I have already started to collect the research data on my "Storage Warehouse" site, to produce and compose it. I'm not at liberty to divulge any hints as of this minute.

Speaking of administrators abandoning forums, I see good ol' "Xavierbreath," more currently Xavierthoughts, has abandoned his excellent gun blog. He has not posted anything since mid-July. It's a shame. I always enjoyed visiting there.

I've noticed that too. He drifted away from gun-related content more and more over the past year or so, but his comments are always well written.

Yes, he got into photography big time. His writing was good. I think he's a perfect example of someone who's a natural writer. He made an occasional grammar error, but who cared, he sure could spin a yarn.

Xavier had spread himself pretty thin; He was all over the monster forums and most of them, he was a moderator.
We probably know more about his past history on guns, than anyone else on the Internet.
