As you may know, I think the Diamondback 380 is the nicest that it out there. Well, they now have 3 new models. The Crimson Trace model, a compensated model, and one with sights machined into the slide. diamondbackfirearms.com/

Callahan, you need to shoot one of these little things, then you would understand. You can't go by just the caliber. A 357 Magnum? Nothing to them. Women have shot my Taurus (compensated, long barrel) and had no issues with it (they had big issues with 1911 in 45ACP). I would rather shoot my S&W 500 than to shoot this little J-frame featherweight 357 Magnum.

You know as funny as that sounds, I beleive it will sell well. I know quite a few women and men that wouldn't mind a little less snap from these short barrelled, small/thin gripped guns.
Especially since Diamond Back has priced themselves at the lower end of the ccw market.
Even the big and chunky HiPoint .380 has a compensated version.

Heck, but I felt wimpy putting a muzzle brake on a .300 Win Mag.!
