Beretta Steel-1 Discontinued?

Before giving people answers at the range, I need to do some research. I let a couple of people shoot my Beretta Steel-1 on Friday and they loved it. One guy wanted to know how much it cost because he would like to get one. Then he asked if they were still available. Without thinking, I said yes.

Now that I'm trying to look up the price, I can't find one. Neither the BerettaUSA nor the International web-site has any information on it anymore.

Anyone know if it has been discontinued for sure and why? Dang, I hate it when manufacturer discontinue an item without warning. At least H&K gave us a chance for the P7M8 Jubilee edition. CZ is now telling us that particular models are being discontinued as well.

I'm convinced that I'm not good searching for information on the Internet. The one I have is the SAO version. I guess it is technically the Steel-I not Steel-1.

....TMan; I really don't know a very much about the Berettas, because I was too busy scooping up deals on the wheel guns, The Colt 1911s, and the Sigs to get involved in anymore brands. It takes up more leather and magazines and my sources has always lead my to certain manufactures and gear.
....I always wanted a 92FS, but never got around to acquiring one.
