I think a supressed Mark II would be terrific to play with. Not interested in jumping through the hoops to get one though.

Anyone know if you can put a 22/45 receiver on a Mark II or III frame?

Tactical Solutions makes the Pac-Lite barrels/receiver and they say it is for the MARK series and 22/45. I don't think Ruger has changed the receiver other than silly things like loaded chamber indicator.

I gave Bill my Mark III receiver because his barrel was shot out on his Mark I. It was necessary to remove the loaded chamber indicator, but then it worked fine.

I think I know where you are coming from but remember Ruger will have to send it to a FFL because the serial number is on the receiver.
