....One of our members once mentioned that the rubber grips would grab on clothing in a concealed situations.....This made a lot of sense to me.

Just bought a Hogue grip for my LCP 380 and use the crimson Trace Holster and no problems with the Hogue grip yet , even tho it's a small grip . Should have introduced myself first ( Marshall ) New Member - but have been the block many times 😉

Welcome Marshall. A bit quiet here these days, but we check in now and then. Lots of history here to read. Enjoy.

I forget the model number, but I have a Smith & Wesson revolver in 357 Magnum that came with the wooden grips as well as the rubber grips. Honestly, in shooting it, I was just as happy with the wood grips. It is a nice revolver that holds 8 rounds, and is fairly heavy. I think at this point I could probably shoot it without any difficulties. (I've had both of my shoulders rebuilt. Getting old sucks!!!).

8 round S&W = 627. My brain first went to the 686, but that is "only" 7 rounds. Then I remembered that I was looking for a longer barreled 9mm revolver (929 and 926, in case you are interested) and remembered glancing over the 627.
On topic, I grew to like the hybrid look Ruger had years ago on their DA revolvers, rubber grip with a wood inlay.
