Before you ask: TMan is not buying anything that has "Lady" as part of the name. Note that "Lady" is a 4 letter word.

......"Lady" will turned off the male counter parts for this pistol. They should have used another name; Any Suggestions ?

As I recall, there was a "Lady Smith" revolver that many would refinish because they liked the gun, but not the name.

....Next thing to look for is a "Macho Man" Pistol, with a 10 inch heavy duty barrel.

DA, the macho man pistol is the Desert Eagle. The macho man revolver is the BFR or is it? I pick the BFR over the S&W because of all the variants in calibers.
Of course the Freedom Arms Model 83 with the 500 Wyoming Express would certainly be a candidate.

I realize it's not the biggest or newest, but the "big gun" in my head will always be the S&W Mod 29, the 44 magnum.

When there are guns in 454 Casull, 460 S&W Magnum, 500 S&W Magnum, etc. It is only a matter of time and S&W will offer a version of the 29 with pink grips. ;D (Easy DA, take deep breaths... I'm only kidding.)

That's something to see them compared. You have some real wrist-wreckers there! I think a Thompson Contender chambered in .444Marlin might top it, but not by much.

.....What I like about the guns that chamber the 44 magnums, most will also chamber the 44 special.

I'm glad you said "most". 44 Special won't cycle in my Desert Eagle. Why didn't I buy the 50AE model? While looking for something else this weekend, I ran across a couple of boxes of 44SPCL. It made me wonder why I bought them. I don't have anything that shoots 44MAG that I find the recoil objectionable. 444Marlin - are you kidding me? When you have a "pistol" with a 15" barrel, you are only 1" short of having a rifle. I maintain that it is basically a rifle with a different grip. I didn't see 444 Marlin listed on the T/C web-site, perhaps it is an aftermarket barrel. Oh, and my T/C is 22LR, and that is just fine for me (but I do need to do a trigger job on it.)

....Although Dirty Harry was using the S&W Model 29 ( 44 magnum ) Revolver, in the movie "Magnum Force", while in the indoor police range, with the rookies, He confessed to using the "Light Specials", for less recoil.
....Harry also said that the recoil would be the same as shooting .357 magnum wadcutters. I tested his opinion about this and took my four inch Colt Python ( the same has the rookies carried in the movie ) and I carried my S&W 29-3 with it's 6 inch barrel, and I also carried 44 specials.
......Dirty Harry was Right.......Clint Eastwood was once a competitive handgun shooter.
