Great find TA, and some great pictures of some really fine guns.
I couldn't see well enough from the pictures, what dash number are they, they kind of look like -2 from the sights.
Why do you say that the grips should be plastic. Mine came with wooden grips also. In fact that is the only problem I've ever had with the gun is the screw loosening up on the grips. Well there is that hammer bite thing too.
I just took a look at them on your web-site. Glad I bought mine when I did. ;D Don't take that the wrong way. I think that is a fair price.

These are non dash P49's. The first ones (very early) came with wood and the 2nd edition came with plastic. At least that is what some guy in Switzerland is telling me. The "P" stamped on the trigger guard is done when the gun leaves the Army. The "A" serial numbers designate Army guns.
TMan, your pistol probably has a serial number that starts with "P". Those are commercial guns.
