I don't know anything about 44 Russian, but it is interesting that this gun will shoot that or 44 SPCL. What I find most attractive is the "Royal Blue". I'm thinking that this is probably the same blue as on the Python. I thought that these just came out since on Talo it says Feb 2011, then it dawned on me that we were in 2012 already. Here is Colt's information on the revolver: www.coltsmfg.com/Catalog/SpecialEditions/WileyClappSingleActionRevolver.aspxOh yes, and one other thing: we have already been through the Clapp jokes when he came out with the Commander.

I found the lucky person, and it is ME!!!! Got an e-mail from Becky and she said got it and the serial number on it is 200. Since they only made 200, it is a real keeper. Don't think I'll be shooting it.
After seeing the TV show about shooting a gun with a Bisley grip i.e. you have to do it with one hand, I need to look for something with a Bisley grip so I can try it out. Previously, when I held a revolver with the Bisley grip, I tried to do it with both hands and it didn't work at all. I just figured that my hands weren't made for it. I didn't realize that nobody's hands were made for it.
