The deals keep coming in for me as I also picked up last week a 22LLR Anschutz repeating rifle in mint shape with a 5 and a 10 shot mag with it as well It even had a brand new BSA scope on it which hadn't been sighted in as yet but is now of course. The older fellow said if I would give him only $200.00 for it I could have it. Its just like new condition. Shoots really tight groups at 50 yards for sure I can attest to already. About 10 shots in a quarter sized hole no less all day long with this gun. April has been My luckey month for sure.

Usually all good things come in 3's so I kinda expect to find one more deal shortly as well. I am going to Toronto on Friday which is about 2 hours away from me to pick up another Mag for it. If I don't have a 3rd deal then at least I know I have done very well with what I have purchased already. I replaced the BSA Scope on it as it had a defective prism in it with a bad smear on the cross hairs. Put a nicer Bushnell on top of it for only $22.00 exchange so may be that was it. That lined up real sweet yesterday in about 20 minutes. Finding it very difficult to find any information on this Annie at all as it appears to be a rather rare model made for Canada only. Not even listed on the Anschutz web site for age. I known its a model 66 but they show NO listing at all for that no. I like the serial no on it 626969 as well. It adds a little flavour to the no.s on it. It also has a No. 125 stamped on top of the barrel under where the scope front mount sits as well.

Researching the history of old guns can be almost as fun as shooting them.

Quite right as it is turning out to be challenge and some fun as well. My third deal may have arrived this morning with 3 rifles which have not seen daylight for well over 20 years now. A storekeeper here has them in his basement where they have just been sitting for many years now. He has No need or use for them and can't even remember why he bought them. No interest in shooting them at all he states. His is a used Knick knack kind of gift store so he is always taking things in for trade or cash. He will dig them out and let me know what they are and I will make him a offer on them which is what he wants. This could be a nice cheap find also? I will keep you informed as it happens.
