The Destruction of Firearms in Australia

Can you believe this happening in Australia? Australia! Promising safety in return for gun bans – a right stolen from the people, citizens were forced to turn in their semi-auto firearms, pump-action rifles and shotguns – 640,000 of them. There was a “buy back” plan, as if that makes it acceptable. One man says he lost 40 years of gun collecting.

I don't think they realize just how bad they have hurt their own country in the way of defence. Heaven forbid they were ever invaded the people could have used these in self defence of their country. I think thats one of the reasons Canada has never really been invaded is the fact that every farmhouse behind every hill has a gun for sure. Even the Russians admitted this many years ago plus our rugged terrain as well where we can hide and fight to the bitter end which we would do. Our history speaks to that for sure.
