www.amazon.com/D-Link-All-in-One-Mobile-Companion-DIR-505/dp/B0081TXIQAwww.dlink.co.in/products/?pid=584This is one cool little device if you travel at all and have more than one wireless device like a laptop, cell-phone, iPad, etc. It allows you to create your own access point/router and attach it to the hotel's LAN or wireless. The latter being the really cool thing. More and more hotels are going to wireless vs. having LAN connections. It also has a USB connection where you can insert a flash drive. (I have a 32 GB drive in mine). It is extremely small, but don't forget adapters if traveling overseas. Also, my universal adapter didn't work in Israel. I had to get a separate adapter over there. The only downside I found was while in India staying in our hotel apartment, when the electricity went out so did my connection. The hotel's routers were on UPS so being directly connected to the LAN, I could still work. So for $36 I bought a UPS to plug it into and also plugged the TV into it. So then when the power went out (several times a day), I kept working or watching TV.
