.......Anytime time that buyers are investing in wide capacity pistols, these older revolvers will be collecting dust or being traded in at lower prices. This happened, prior to the last Assault Ban.....Watch the Gun Shows, Pawn Dealers, The Counters at the Shooting Ranges, and call around.

Maybe someone will sell off that old blued 4" Python to acquire a common black rifle. ......Months before the last "Assault Ban", Colt was still making the Python, but the retail prices had dropped to $500. dollars in my area. I only paid $375. for my 6", $400. dollars for my 4" during that time. Shortly after the ban was signed by Clinton, a surge of revolvers was being introduced. Colt reintroduced the Colt Detective Specials and S&W introduced the J-Frame 640-1 Centennial in.357 magnum......then, Colt followed up with a Colt Detective Special, chambered for the .357 magnum in carbon steel & stainless steel. By the time I got around to purchasing my Colt AR-15, I had to purchase the post ban Clinton version.
