Well, that is interesting. As I watched and listened to him I wondered about the relationship between the friction of the bullet pulling the slide forward and the recoil spring strength. It looked to me like this could be quite sensitive to jams.
Later in the video, he mentions that he had to us European ammo because the Remmington wasn't hot enough to cycle reliably.
Apparently the recoil spring is quite strong because he mentioned the recoil being sharp, and I'm thinking that is from the slide coming back and striking the frame. The 32ACP cartridge isn't all that powerful.
I wish there was a video showing the internals in action like there is for the 1911. It would be interesting to see how the trigger/hammer/disconnector worked as well as when and where the empty case is ejected.
