That's a pretty low price for a 1911. Yours?

I think DA did an apples and oranges on us with his post. Part of it is referring to the 22LR model and part to the .45ACP model.
Yesterday RSR got two of the OD Green versions, but they sold already.
From my database, sorry about the formatting, but you get the idea.
DESCR PRICE "CHIAPPA 1911-22 5"" BLK 10RD 22LR" $267.00 "CHIAPPA 1911-22 5"" OD 10RD 22LR" $266.00 "CHIAPPA 1911-22 5"" TAN 10RD 22LR" $266.00 "CHIAPPA 1911-22 5"" TARGET BLK 22LR" $296.00 "CHIAPPA 1911-22 5.5"" TACTICAL 22LR" $368.00
None of these are currently in stock.
DESCR PRICE LSI CITADEL 1911 6RD BRUSH NKL 45ACP $564.00 LSI CITADEL 1911 6RD BLK/HG BK 45ACP $568.00 LSI CITADEL 1911 8RND 45ACP $533.00 LSI CITADEL 1911 8RD BRUSH NKL 45ACP $564.00 LSI CITADEL 1911 8RD BLK/HG BK 45ACP $568.00
These are all available from Sports South or Ellett Bros. The prices include Becky's markup.
Back to DA's post: notice the bullet holes on this target:
The last time I saw this was when shooting my Jennings - the bullets were hitting sideways. It is possible, I suppose, that the target could have been skewed. I'll try doing that at the range on Friday and see what the target looks like.
I gave you the distributor information in case you wanted to have your dealer order one for you. {I know nothing about these guns}.

TMan; The Bottom of my thread was referring to the .22 version of this pistol. Sorry about the confusion.

on the line of inexpensive 1911's. Rock Island 1911 available in .38super, 9mm, and 45ACP for about $370. They have other options that cost more too. available in a number of places. www.centerfiresystems.com/AC-RI1911.aspx I think Tman has one of these...(that's generally a safe bet, isn't it I'll have to check another catalog at home, there is another that I'm thinking of as well.

Well? They are both 1911's and both shoot 45ACP. So with Rock River, you are just paying more for the name.
Use your fingers to push your eyeballs back into their sockets. ;D
