I saw our Governor, Rick Perry, on Fox News today. He is spending the week in NY and CT trying to convince companies to move to Texas. I can't rate him as a governor, but he is one heck of a salesman.
Ilion, NY is a very small town. He mentioned it by name as where Remington Arms is located, so I'm sure he is going there.
The problem with Remington is all the money they have invested in their current facility. When they were my account back in the early 70's, they had a lot of old wood buildings. I've seen them on TV since then and they have a lot of new modern brick buildings. Added to that is the relocation of their employees who have family in the area. (No personal income tax in Texas guys).
Rick Perry has b**ls the size of Texas. (With all due respect to my friends in GA).

....No Offence Taken ;D
....A True Georgian has a lot respect for The Great State of Texas.
...When The Great State of Texas passed their "Stand Your Ground Law", Georgia followed in the same path.
...When G.W. Bush was Governor of The Great State of Texas, he signed this Self Defense Bill into Law. A few years ago, I seen a News Special on this law, and it also protects property from being stolen. Georgia don't have this clause in their law. In the News Special, a Texan had his truck repoed, the Texan got his hunting rifle and shot the repo man and killed him. The Texan was found innocent of all charges.....The Texas Attorney General, during that time, said if you repo vehicles for a living, you might ought to think about taking up a new profession.
