The Baby Boomer Generation

......Most us are probably "The Baby Boomer Generation" on this group.
......In your own words, What was different about being part of this generation while growing up ?

Life was a much slower pace and then the real 1st thing I noticed back then was the arrival of all the fast food restaurants like McDonalds Red Barn and so forth. The Red Barn was the same as Rotten Ronnies up here but was cheap so it survived for a no. of years. This is only one example I know but the main thing I noticed 1st which started in the early to late 50's.
