One of our guys brought this large framed revolver to the club on Tuesday night. It only holds 5 rounds. He made up some rounds at home of varying powder loads and then placed one store bought round in the chamber at the end. I am not a heavy man with losing a lot of weight and down to 134lbs in the last year. The first 4 rounds I fired thru it were not too bad, like firing a hot 45 apc load. The 5th store bought load lifted me about one half inch straight up off of the ground. Wow what a rush that was I can tell you. Funny part was I actually hit the 10 spot with the last round. Way too much power for a handgun in a normal usage situation. For you fellow members who like old vehicles I have been lucky enough to be picked by LMC truck Co. who have done a feature spread on my old P?U truck. Go to LMCTRUCKLIFE>COM and look under trucks of the world section. My truck is listed under the 1967-1972 vintage listing from Canada.

There's a guy that brings his snubby .454 to every group shoot with $20 bet (+ammo cost to the loser) to the one that can shoot a full cylinder, without a shooting glove, and hit the target. He's lost some, but he's won more than he's lost.

Yes its the White truck with the Blueglass. It came up here in 1991 and I slowly built it up to what it is to-day. About 450 Horsepower. Gotta have some fun. It may be on their catalogue cover next month as well.

.....Frame size on revolvers has a lot to do with the impact of recoil and muzzle flip, and so does the ammo, the trigger, and how the hand is placed on the grip. This is a custom made S&W 44 magnum revolver, that I traded for my Wilson Combat pistols. This revolver was made for Combat Self Defense purposes, with a 8 lb double action stroke. This revolver had less felt recoil than a J-Frame S&W .357 magnum revolver. Notice the opened backstrap with the Hogue Grip Stock. this places my web of my grip closer to the center axis to the bore. My self defense load was the Hornady 44 magnum with a muzzle velocity of 1550 FPS.

Yes that is my Toy truck that I have owned and built since 1991. The engine is balanced and blueprinted with 1966 Corvette Double Camelhump heads on it It pushing around 450HP with a very heavy TH400 tranny behind it. I put a Auborn posi rearend in it with 342 gears. I have lots of fun with it. I am still young at heart. 3' exhaust pipes all stainless as well.

If only my wife knew what I spent building this truck she would probably freak out but I don't care. Boys and their toys aye. We have to have them. I bought the ruck in 1991 and started building it back then. Only paid $1000. originally for it with a 350 engine in it. Built what I wanted in 1996 for under the hood. I now have around 35,000 miles on this engine. Should be good for at least 3/4 of a million miles before I have to look at it I suspect. When I drive tru parking lots it sets off all the car alarms from the vibration it gives off. Funny needless to say.
