So it is really fixed and I can post again. Way to go it only took how long? Anyhow after announcing in last December that she was going to retire they offered my wife a promotion if she would come back to India and cover both India and Africa for a large account. So after 10 years as a VP, she finally gets promoted. She should have said years ago that she was going to retire.
We took some days off and went on safaris in Kenya at a couple of places last week. We got to see thousands of animals and even got to see the wildebeest crossing the Mara River. While we were watching only one croc was successful in bringing down a wildebeest. Anyhow it was exciting seeing all the lions, and I was amazed how close you could get to them.
DA, I bought a new Nikon 7100 with an 18-300mm zoom. The 7100 is 24mp and has a 1.3X setting that effectively gave me a 600mm reach.
My wife just got a call from her PE in Nairobi. Several men broke into their apartments and robbed them at gunpoint.
Anyhow, glad to be back on the forum, and at some point I'll get back to buying and shooting guns. I can't believe that I haven't even shot one round in 2014.

Good to hear from you again TMan. Stay safe out there in the wild. Actually, doing that is a little harder than you might think. I was totally prepared for mosquitoes, and there weren't any. What I wasn't prepared for were the little flies. I had a very small cut below the nose from the electric raiser. It wasn't even enough to draw blood, but the flies found it. They were so small and light you could barely feel them. Well they did a real number on me. My wife didn't notice because for the most part I had a camera up to my face. Well, I ended up with a sore that is about 3/4" in diameter. It is healing now, but who ever thought that flies could do that. Our guide This is where we stayed in Maasai Mara This is where we stayed in Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

Very nice trip to take, wish I had been smuggled in your luggage to these beautiful places as well. Had to stay here for my Mothers funeral to-day. She was in her 92 year and went peacefully last Wednesday in Hospital. Hope you have had a ball.

...As you have already seen, I found the problem.....It was the "recent" button that was installed. I found this out by creating another Handgun Forum. It was a riddle for me and the folks at the Proboards Forum, for many months. I know my way around this New Forum now, and I like it.

...."Nikon 7100 with an 18-300mm zoom. The 7100 is 24mp and has a 1.3X setting that effectively gave me a 600mm reach." ....The 600mm will provide you with a very long reach, especially with the Nikon Lens...Perfect for shooting Wildlife.

DA, I just picked up the MB-D15 battery holder for it and I ordered the 1.7X Teleconverter. The prices here are amazing. Newer models cost more than in the US. However, a product that the retailer bought when the rate of exchange was 40 INR to 1 USD and priced accordingly on their web-site is now a real bargain for me with a rate of exchange of 61 INR to 1 USD. So I'm picking up some accessories.
Blueglass, sorry to hear about your loss, but I'm glad to know that she went peacefully.
