Because we liberals do not trust police and think that they have one lone brain cell, drive pickup trucks, and have an awful rash." Still a valid point today. Therefore, no one should be trusted with guns. Except police. Who cannot be trusted with Tasers. So hand over you iPod, wallet, cell phone and keys to your Volvo to your potential attacker, then run away with a trail of sewage behind you, so the police know how to find you should you forget how to contact them from fear paralysis.

.....The Modern Liberal Democrats invented Federal "Gun Control Laws", however, these Laws has never worked to deter violent crime. This makes me wonder about the Logic behind these "Gun Control Laws". During discussions, with these Gun Control Democrats, they fold up like a cheap lawn chairs. When faced with Discussions about their own "Gun Control" Legislation, this comes out to be their Achilles’ heel” or vulnerability spot....Maybe they are Blinded by their own ignorance, refuses to accept the facts, relies of the ignorance of The American People, or has this silly lopsided notion, that they can buy us off with free government handouts to keep us dumb & stupid. It's no wonder why these Democrats wants to take away our Second Amendment Rights, for Free Speech, on The Internet.
